We are a family run website that arose out of our obsession with the legendary dachshund.

That obsession started with Shakespeare.

No, not the famous playwright, but a six-week-old miniature red dachshund which wielded his name with honor. We called him Shakie for short. We have been doxified ever since.

Shakie now protects us from across the rainbow bridge. Oh, how we miss that feisty, brave, fearless, and yet so cuddly, brown hound. Currently our security crew consists of Petey, Lucy, and the baby, Daisy, pictured above.
